Meet Our Stylist

My name is Venice Morris and here is a little information about me and some insight on my life. I am currently a fourth year at Suffolk University. I entered university as a Marketing major. After one semester I realized I wanted to do something a bit more creative and artistic with my life. I am now a Public Relations major with a minor in Marketing. I thought it would be smart to keep both under my belt and gain skills from both fields. I have two dreams that would make me very happy to pursue as careers in the near future. The first dream would be to work for a magazine company or in the fashion industry and to run the company’s social media department along with planning different events for that company. I’ve been very interested in fashion my whole life so my second dream would be to style celebrities for their galas and events.

For the next two semesters I will be interning at Lit Boutique. The social media director at Lit Boutique gave me the opportunity to do both things I love to do the most. I help run the Lit Instagram and I style models for upcoming photoshoots. Given both of these chances to try out both fields, I can tell I am leaning more towards becoming a stylist. You may be wondering: “why styling?” Personally speaking, putting outfits together is like a fun puzzle that needs to be solved. The outcome of finishing that puzzle is what makes me the happiest; it’s seeing the model falling in love with the outfits I picked out for them. Growing up, I always struggled finding the right clothes for me since I am considered a bit thicker than other girls. My goal, as a stylist, would be to make sure my model always looks amazing and feel comfortable in the clothes I put them in.
